Performance art through live clay sculpture creation.

This performance, entitled “Mediterranean Artist's diary” is a metaphor for human and artistic development. The mass of ceramic clay represents the primordial material: life, creativity, and raw potential. Through its successive transformations, it reflects how each stage of life leaves an irreversible mark on this material, just as each experience shapes the individual. The Mediterranean Sea serves as the backdrop for this performance, where clay sculpture has been, since ancient times, an essential form of artistic expression. This humble and malleable material allowed artists to model figures linked to daily life, spirituality, and nature, reflecting the close relationship between humankind and its environment. The Mediterranean, cradle of civilizations such as the Iberian, Greek, and Roman cultures, contributed not only themes and iconography but also techniques and traditions that made clay a fundamental medium for telling stories, preserving beliefs, and expressing cultural identity..
